Well baby we’re just bottle rockets
In this fifth of July town
That ol’ moon is dropping
And we’re gonna have to come back down
I don’t wanna waste no time
If we gotta say goodbye, do it slow
And make it a long night letting go

    1. Well, how do you unkiss somebody?
How do you forget that taste?
How do you delete that smile and burn that file 'til there ain't no trace?
How do we unranked those shots and tuck my hand and found yours under the table?
How do you unsay "Hey let's get out of this place?"

Well baby, we're just bottle rockets in this fifth of July town
      That old moon is dropping
And we're gonna have to come back down
I don't wanna waste no time, if we gotta say goodbye, do it slow
And make it a long night lettin' go

Well, how did I get tangled up, when therе ain't no strings attached?
How do you unmake love, undo that drug, it don't work likе that
      You can't upstart that match

Well baby, we're just bottle rockets in this fifth of July town
      That old moon is dropping
And we're gonna have to come back down
I don't wanna waste no time, if we gotta say goodbye, do it slow

Well baby, we're just bottle rockets in this fifth of July town
      That old moon is dropping
And we're gonna have to come back down
Baby, let's just do this right, we can hold each other tight, until we don't
      Until we don't
It's gonna be a long night lettin' go

And make it a long night lettin' go

    2. I want that life so badly😭 I wanna live in the US with a big family, friends and this one person in my life that’s meant for me. I want to have a truck and live in the country and do all kinds of fun things with my friends. I just wanna be normal!😭

    3. Bud I have got to say I am a country music fan but you have got a lot of good talent to go all the way as a truck driver I have my radio on all the time and you don't even hear anything like this keep up the game bud .

    4. I just found this… tears man. My (now former) girl and I have been through hell the last couple years. Her husband, my neighbor and friend took his own life 🙁 she ran over to get me. I knew he had demons but he said he’d never do that to his family, and he did. There was nothing I could do to bring him back. I decided then and there to forever look after the ladies he left behind. I had no desires for her or to replace him. Our friendship grew stronger than we could handle and she kissed me nearly a year later. We felt so much love, so complete all of a sudden. I thought we were so happy, at least I was. It only took weeks before her cracks showed through and we fell apart after a couple months, her doing. Should I say, undoing? I persevered… I made a promise to always be there. We kept getting back together but she was so absent. I was so involved. Now a year later she broke it off. She’s still trying to mourn him, her late husband and father to their kids. I tried unbelievably hard to complete their life but it wasn’t enough. She tells me I deserve what she can’t give me… the love I give her. So it’s over. She’s gonna be healing the rest of her life. I hope it doesn’t take the rest of my life to get over her. I told her a couple weeks ago after the breakup I wish we could erase two years. Take it back to when my buddy was still alive and I was just her neighbor that she never spoke a word to. Erase my memories with her, my kid, her kids, the family we were building that was really just a glass house that shattered for her early on. How can you unlove someone? I can’t even speak to her for my sadness and she is ashamed she lured me in to distract herself from her pain. At least she’s healing now. My last night with her while having this talk, I told her all I ever wanted was for her to be ok. We started bawling. That was that 🙁
